Indigenous events at the University of Melbourne
A new way to promote Indigenous events at the University of Melbourne
Events that are registered on the main University Events Calendar and tagged as 'Indigenous', will appear on these pages as an Indigenous events.
Register your event
To submit your event, log into the events system (staff only) and fill in a 'New Event' form online.
If the event is tagged as 'Indigenous' it will, subsequent to approval, automatically appear on these pages as an University Indigenous Event.
- Only events tagged as 'Indigenous' in the 'Tags' section of the form (towards the end of the form) will be featured on these Reconciliation at Melbourne pages
- If you tick YES to the 'Featured Event' question, your event will feature on the main University events calendar as well as on the Indigenous events calendar. If you tick NO your event will only appear on the Reconciliation at Melbourne events page.
- Only events that are open to the public should be listed on the Indigenous events calendar.
- If you are concerned that your event might be oversubscribed, set up an event page with "Eventbrite" and limit the number of tickets available to the maximum number your venue can accommodate. Enter your event url in the bookings section of the form and tick the box to indicate 'bookings required'.
We look forward to hearing about your events!
